How to get to Camp Shady Brook
From Colorado Springs
Follow U.S. Highway 24 west to Woodland Park. At Woodland Park,
turn north on State Highway 67. Continue on Hwy. 67 for 23 miles to
Deckers. At Deckers, take a hard left over the bridge onto South Y
Camp Road which is a dirt road. Continue on the dirt road for 2
miles into the camp parking lot. The approximate driving time is 1
hour and 15 minutes from downtown Colorado Springs.
From Denver
Follow U.S. Highway 285 west approximately 6 miles out of Conifer to
Pine Junction. Turn south (left) at Pine Junction on Route 126.
Continue on Route 126 through Pine and Buffalo Creek to Deckers. In
Deckers make a hard right over the bridge onto South Y Camp Road,
which is a dirt road. Continue on the dirt road for 2 miles into the
camp parking lot. The approximate driving time is 1 1/2 hours from
southwest Denver.

Directions to Camp Shady Brook
From the North,
go South on I-25 to Denver; West on I-70; South/East on 470;
South/West on 285.
From the East,
go West on I-70 to Denver; South/East on 470; South/West on 285.
From the West,
go East on I-70 to Denver; South/East on 470; South/West on 285.
Continue on US-285
towards Fairplay for about 20 miles. About 6 miles past
Conifer, look for the traffic light. Turn left at the
light onto CO-126/S Pine Valley Rd. There may be a sign that
says something like Pine or Pine Junction. Continue on
CO-126 for about 25 miles. This is a long and winding road
so drive carefully.
The scenery is
very beautiful but keep your eyes on the road. When you see the
river on the right, you're getting close. Look for the
bridge that crosses the river. Right after the bridge,
turn right onto the dirt road. There are a few stores
opposite the dirt road.
From the South,
go North on I-25 to Colorado Springs. Take the Cimarron (US-24)
Exit.
Go North/West on
US-24 for about 16 miles to Woodland Park. Go North on CO-67 for
about 38 miles to Deckers. There are a few stores on the
right. The dirt road is on the left.
Continue on the
dirt road for about 3 miles to Camp Shadybrook.
